Thank you, Mary, for interceding with your Son!
Last year, I underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. For many years I have been praying the Rosary every day after reading my daily devotions. When I learned that I needed the operation, I was calm and confident, accepting the will of God for the outcome. As it turned out, my tumor was low grade and non-invasive. Other than regular exams, I am leading a normal life and continue to pray my daily Rosary. Thank you, Mary, for interceding with your Son for me in my time of need.

Over five years ago, my life came to a crashing halt as a result of alcoholism and drug addiction. In the month before my final separation from alcohol and drugs, I began wearing the Miraculous Medal. Within weeks I reached “rock bottom.” Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a new life. I believe Our Blessed Mother kept me safe until I was able to recognize and freely accept the grace of God. She has walked with me ever since, and I continue to wear my Miraculous Medal. I have been miraculously restored from an utterly hopeless state. I have been free of alcohol and drugs ever since. I have two children—two beautiful lives that may not have been. I keep a plaque of the Miraculous Medal in their room, knowing that Mary will care for them and bless them as she did for me.

When I lost our child suddenly from SIDS at two months of age, I was devastated. I leaned on Our Blessed Mother for consolation and strength. I have had a devotion to her since I was a child. From one mother to another who also lost her child, I asked for strength to work through my grief. Many fruits came from this devotion, including my husband’s conversion to the Catholic faith 20 years later.

I was a single father with three children and had just lost my job. I stopped by the university’s Newman Center for daily Mass. Walking back to my car, I said a prayer, asking Our Blessed Mother for a “small favor.” In my mind I was asking for an impossible miracle. My request was to find a job that would allow me to attend daily Mass. Through Our Lady’s intercession, I was hired at the university and was able to attend daily Mass over my lunch break at the Newman Center. I was also given full benefits for my family and me, which we desperately needed. I worked at the state university as a gardener until I retired. I am truly thankful to Our Lady for her lifelong help and protection. Blessed be Jesus and his holy Mother.

My son and daughter-in-law were expecting their first child last year. Because of their age, many tests were done, and the results were showing issues. We were concerned for the baby’s health. At some point I sent in a prayer request to the Association that the baby would be born healthy. She was born on October 17, in the afternoon. I had completely forgotten about sending in the prayer request. That same night, I received a text message from the Association stating that I was being remembered in prayer and a Votive Light was burning for my intentions. How could that happen on the same day other than it being due to Our Lady’s intercession?

My brother was in a VA nursing home for many years. During that time, he always joined the group who prayed the Rosary at the VA home chapel. He always told me that if you said the Rosary faithfully and prayed to Mary would be with you at the time of your death. I had also given him one of the Miraculous Medals to hang from his rosary. Eventually, he ended up in hospice, and I got to know the hospice nurses by name. The early morning that he died, I did not recognize the hospice nurse who was with him, as I had not seen her before. I asked her what her name was and she replied, “Mary.”

Recently, I had a bone scan, which indicated multiple areas of concern in the pelvis. A radiologist friend said that I should be prepared for a diagnosis of metastatic cancer after reading the bone scan report. I was then sent for an MRI for more visual imaging! It was an open MRI machine, and after entering it, the Miraculous Medal that I always wear jumped from my chest where it was resting and attached itself to the machine since it was magnetic. The nurse’s aide forgot to remove the medal before I entered the MRI. My results were completely normal, showing no evidence of the multiple areas of concern!

As I was returning home from the hospital after my son broke his arm, I was speeding and got pulled over by the police. I was going 20 miles over the speed limit. The police officer asked to see my driver’s license. When I got out of the car to get my license from my wallet, my Miraculous Medal fell on the ground. The police officer picked up my Miraculous Medal and handed it back to me. He told me to slow down, and he let me go without a ticket. I credit this to the intercession of Our Blessed Mother.

Wearing the Miraculous Medal changed our lives!
I always believed in the Virgin Mary. She interceded for us every time we needed her, but I did not know about the Miraculous Medal. I had a medal, but I did not know how special it was. When COVID-19 hit our country, I had to stay home to be with my children. I naturally had more time to pray and read about the Virgin Mary. When I read about the Miraculous Medal, I thought to myself that if I started to wear the medal and pray to Our Blessed Mother with faith and confidence, we would have more strength to fight this pandemic. I bought four medals for my family members to wear every day. Believe me, from that day forward our lives changed in a way that I can never describe. We are well and every day we realize that the Miraculous Medal is no ordinary medal. It is truly a “Miraculous” Medal. Please pray to Our Blessed Mother and wear the Miraculous Medal, and I can say with confidence you will see results.

One rainy afternoon, my nephew was maneuvering our vehicle to turn left towards a main road. An oncoming motorcycle was speeding and headed in our direction. I already anticipated that we were going to be hit hard. Then, the motorcycle stopped just a hair’s breadth away. I attributed this to Our Blessed Mother’s powerful intercession and protection. A Miraculous Medal hangs on the rear view mirror of our vehicle, and I was wearing a Miraculous Medal around my neck. Thank you so much, Blessed Mother, for your love, care, and protection for our family.

Prayer to Our Lady for Healing
Mary Immaculate, you have given yourself to us as Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. You have asked us to pray with confidence, and we will receive great graces. We know your compassion, because you saw your Son suffer and die for us. In your union with His suffering, you became the mother of us all.
Mary, my mother, teach me to understand my suffering as you do and to endure it in union with the suffering of Jesus. In your motherly love, calm my fears and increase my trust in God’s loving care.
According to God’s plan, obtain for me the healing I need. Intercede with your Son that I may have the strength I need to work for God’s glory and the salvation of the world.
