As testimonies to the generosity of God’s love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

I am grateful to Our Lady for hearing my cry!
After our first child was born, we could not conceive again for nearly a year. We went to a shrine in Florida. I went in and didn’t really know what to say since I had a Protestant upbringing. I cried the cry of a broken heart. Two months later, we found out we were pregnant! Once we found out the baby was a girl, she was named in honor of Mary, and on July 18th, our daughter was born. We gave her the middle name of Grace. It was only later that I learned July 18 is the anniversary of the day Our Lady appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré! I don’t feel this is a coincidence. I am grateful to Our Lady that my cry for the blessing of motherhood was answered.

I feel confident of Our Blessed Mother’s powerful intercession!
I was having financial problems and a family member was drinking and becoming abusive. In a dream, I was shown to say the words, “O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” After praying these words and wearing the Miraculous Medal, things improved not only for me, but for the family member, as well. Hopelessness left us. I feel confident Our Blessed Mother was guiding me and using her powerful intercession.

Truly grateful to Our Blessed Mother and the Association!
After sending in my prayer requests to the Association of the Miraculous Medal, I have been blessed with many miracles through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother. My husband and I were unable to have children for which there was no known medical reason. After I began to have a personal devotion to Our Blessed Mother, I was blessed with a son and a daughter. I have had two friends who were near death, but after requesting prayers through the Association, they were both cured and are doing well. I am truly grateful to Our Blessed Mother and the Association.

So grateful for the intercession of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal!
I am writing to tell you about my miracle from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. In January of 2012, I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and suffered with excruciating pain. Medication did not help much. Later, I was diagnosed with another blood disorder. At this point, I felt so sick that I began a Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, which I’ve prayed in time of need for more than 50 of my 80 years. I asked Our Lady to obtain a miracle for me through her Son, or to at least extend my life a little longer so that I could get my affairs in order. Later, my doctors told me that both my diseases are now in remission! I truly believe that these blessings were obtained for me through the intercession of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. I am so grateful!

Thank you Mother Mary for my friend’s healing!
My friend was injured in a farm accident. His brain injury was so severe that the doctors said he would probably not walk or talk again. Through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother Mary, my friend is now home with his wife and children. He is talking up a storm. At Easter, my friend walked into church with the aid of a cane. He still has a long way to go, but the power of prayer has NO boundaries. My friend is living proof of this. Praise God and thank you Mother Mary for my friend’s healing.

Thank you Blessed Mother for being there for my niece!
My 27-year-old niece was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and went through many treatments. After the treatments, there was still 10% of the cancer left which was wrapped around a heart valve. When I learned of her health condition, I prayed the Rosary every day. I asked Our Blessed Mother to intercede with her Son on behalf of my niece, who has a two-year-old daughter who needs her mother. Our prayers were answered. My niece had a PET scan recently and is now clear of any cancer. She will need to be tested every three months to make sure the cancer doesn’t recur. I am confident Our Lady will remain close beside my niece. I can’t thank Mary enough for her help and for being there for my niece. Thank you, Blessed Mother, a million times.

I am blessed to have Our Lady in my life!
I have always had a great devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. She has always helped me when I was in need. Recently, I was granted my green card without any delay, and Our Lady ensured that I had a kind and helpful immigration officer. She offered advice on how I can bring my children into the country legally. Before my interview, I called on Our Lady to be with me, and she was. I am so lucky to have her in my life.

Several years ago, I had an insulin reaction that caused my blood sugar to drop dangerously low. I fell down the stairs in the midst of this. I did not realize that my neck was broken until 3 days later when I mentioned my neck pain to a doctor during an appointment. He ordered an x-ray. My doctors were amazed that the broken neck did not result in paralysis! I give credit to the Miraculous Medal I was wearing and Our Lady’s intercession. I wear my medal constantly.

Prayer to Our Lady for Healing
Mary Immaculate, you have given yourself to us as Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. You have asked us to pray with confidence, and we will receive great graces. We know your compassion, because you saw your Son suffer and die for us. In your union with His suffering, you became the mother of us all.
Mary, my mother, teach me to understand my suffering as you do and to endure it in union with the suffering of Jesus. In your motherly love, calm my fears and increase my trust in God’s loving care.
According to God’s plan, obtain for me the healing I need. Intercede with your Son that I may have the strength I need to work for God’s glory and the salvation of the world.
