My prayers were heard.

I prayed to Our Blessed Mother for her intercession regarding some lab results. After seeing a documentary about the Miraculous Medal, I began to pray for healing.  The day before I received my lab results, I received a Miraculous Medal in the mail.  I knew my prayers were being heard. The following day, I received a call from the doctor’s office with the news that my results were normal.  I know it was through the intercession of Our Lady and the Miraculous Medal that I was healed.

Several years ago, in 1998, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I had worn a Miraculous Medal off and on for many years. Mother Mary is working through prayer for us!

I am writing this letter in thanksgiving to Our Blessed Mother and her divine Son, Jesus, for answering my prayer and for the miracles for my family and myself. Over the past five years, we have suffered illness, drugs and alcohol, divorce, loss of our home through a fire, financial issues, and just about every evil that could come against one family. I began praying to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and I gave each member of the family a Miraculous Medal to wear.  I cannot begin to tell you how Mother Mary is working through prayer for us.  When I mention miracles, I mean exactly that! My son has been completely healed from all drug and alcohol addictions.  Healings of spirit, body, emotions and finances, are happening constantly. Only prayer could have brought about the many blessings that have touched us.  I know now why we are told, “To Jesus through Mary.” If there is any way to help the hurting or hopeless, I pray my message will reach them.  I also pray the holy Rosary each day and have found wonderful peace.  I could go on and on because God’s blessings are endless.  For anyone who is about to give up, I want to say, keep on praying to Our Blessed Lady because your miracle is just around the next prayer./

Several years ago, I found a Miraculous Medal.  I always had the feeling that the medal was deemed to be for someone else.  I carried it with me always. It wasn’t long before the answer to my question became clear. A co-worker was heading to Afghanistan.  I asked Our Blessed Mother if it would be alright to give the person the Miraculous Medal I found.  The urge to give her the medal was so overwhelming, so I did.  She was very appreciative, and seemed on the verge of tears.  I knew it would serve her well and would keep her well protected in a very hostile place.  Thank you, Blessed Mother, for your nudge.

Our Blessed Virgin Mary interceded for us!

Several years ago, my son was very ill with pneumonia and congestive heart failure. He was hospitalized, but his condition was getting worse.  My family and prayer partners prayed for Our Holy Mother’s intercession. Twenty-four hours later, my son made a miraculous recovery. The doctors monitored him for several more days before he was finally discharged from the hospital.  I firmly believe that Our Blessed Virgin Mary interceded for us and that God healed our son.

I have been praying for my co-worker’s 18- year-old son who was diagnosed with stomach cancer.  He underwent three months of extensive chemotherapy to prepare him for surgery.  At a doctor’s appointment to discuss treatment options, the doctors told the family that there was no more tumor and that the young man didn’t need surgery or further treatment.  This is a true miracle from God through the intercessory prayers to Our Blessed Mother.  Thank you for all your prayers to Mother Mary.

I would like to thank Our Blessed Mother for protecting me from serious injury when I was struck by a car as I crossed the road. Luckily, the driver of the car who hit me did not abandon me.  He took me to the emergency room of a nearby hospital.  For me, it’s a miracle that I didn’t sustain any serious injuries.  Although I am still recuperating, I have been able to go back to work.  Thank you Lord!  Thank you, Mother Mary, for your protection.

A firm belief in the power of Mary’s intercession!

My mother went into hospice care in March 2018.  Although my mother was considered to be in the “end of life” stage, her mind was very lucid and she felt hungry even though her throat was constricted. She couldn’t even drink water. I understand that when a person is at the end of life they don’t need food or drink any longer, but it was clear that my mother felt hunger and thirst. I was distressed and desperate!  That night as I went through my mail, I found an envelope from the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville with a gift of blessed oil.  I rubbed the oil on my mother’s throat while praying to Mary for her intercession.  Within a few days, my mother was able to eat small meals and drink water.  She continued this process of eating and drinking for 10 weeks. At that time, I did not know much about the story of the Miraculous Medal.  I acted on faith alone with a firm belief in the power of Mary’s intercession through Our Lord.  I now know that we experienced nothing short of a miracle, especially after learning about the history of the Miraculous Medal and Saint Catherine Labouré’s faithful life of caring for the aged and the infirm. The blessed oil I received had been touched to a relic of Saint Catherine Labouré.  My mother was 101 years old when she passed.

Thanks to God and his loving Mother, I had a blessed year. I am finally free of cancer, my daughter had a wonderful wedding, and my son is doing well in California. Several years ago, I received some upsetting news. I was so distraught that I didn’t know what to do. I knelt down and started praying the Rosary to Our Blessed Mother.  Not only was I praying for peace for myself, but also for the person who had hurt me the most. In the middle of my Rosary, I had a distinct feeling that someone was standing behind me. I turned around, and I saw pulsating circles of light on the floor. For some reason, I knew that Our Blessed Mother was watching over me. I am so grateful for her intercession and presence in my life.

Our Blessed Mother has been a part of my life for a very long time. I pray every day that she will direct, guide, assist, protect, and be close to my wife and me. Our Lady was with my wife just last month when she was in an accident. While she was driving, another car hit her broadside on the driver’s side. Often this type of accident results in serious injuries and even fatalities. My wife came out without a scratch!  This was because Our Blessed Mother was with her. When my wife phoned and informed me of the accident, I immediately thanked Our Lady for her intercession and thanked Our Lord for sparing my wife from drastic injury.  I believe my wife survived because of our love and devotion to Our Blessed Mother. I still have flashes of the accident and what could have happened, and I thank Our Lady every time.

God is so good!

Recently a friend of mine gave birth to a son.  He began to suffer severe seizures shortly after his entrance into the world. The doctors said that if he lived through the seizures, he would have extensive brain damage. After having the baby baptized in the hospital and entrusting him to Saint Therese (the Little Flower) and Our Blessed Mother, we placed a Miraculous Medal in his crib. Ten days later, my friend brought her son home from the hospital. The doctors say there is absolutely nothing wrong with him.  God is so good!  Thank you to Our Blessed Mother and Saint Therese for their intercession.

Some time ago, I asked for Our Blessed Mother’s intercession that a criminal charge against my nephew be dismissed. At that time, he was 16 years old and was falsely accused. To make matters worse, witnesses in the case lied about my nephew’s involvement. We had been living through the legal process and awaiting a trial for over a year. When I received your email, the first petition I asked for was a dismissal in my nephew’s case. We continuously prayed for this and kept faith.  A few weeks later, the judge finally dismissed the case. I want to thank Our Lady for her intercession and all those who offered prayers for my petition at her Shrine.

Our Heavenly Mother Mary was looking out for her.

I’m writing in thanksgiving to Our Lady for watching over my mother.  She had many serious health issues. She was extremely ill for several months, in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Her doctors began talking about quality of life versus quantity of life.  She was even on a ventilator. She was taking many antibiotics that didn’t seem to be working. Through Our Lady’s intercession, she was healed of her infections and blood clots. Her doctors were amazed and one even said, “She must have had someone looking out for her.”  She did–Our Heavenly Mother Mary!

I am writing in thanksgiving for prayers answered.  My brother left the Church many years ago following a very painful divorce. He was so very hurt and angry and felt abandoned by God.  He later remarried an atheist and had nothing to do with God or the Church. But most recently, he took the first step to rejoin the Catholic Church and became a practicing Catholic once again. He is also raising his newborn twins in the Catholic faith. My parents and I had been praying for this, and our prayers were answered. Thank you, Mother Mary, for your intercession. Blessed Mother was watching over my daughter.

My daughter was driving one wintery night, and icy roads caused her to lose control of her vehicle. The vehicle rolled and hit a tree. My daughter proudly wears her Miraculous Medal daily! She was wearing it at the time of the accident. Thank goodness she was spared any major injuries.  I know the Blessed Virgin Mary was watching over my daughter and kept her safe.

Since I was a little girl, I have had a Miraculous Medal hidden in my jewelry box. I really didn’t know it was a Miraculous Medal until I read about Saint Catherine Labouré. It was then that I realized my grandmother had given me a Miraculous Medal. I decided to pray the Miraculous Medal Novena because I’ve suffered with anxiety my entire life, struggling with resentment, anxiety, and a general feeling that “I don’t have a purpose in this life”. After putting on the Miraculous Medal and praying the novena, I felt a sense of clarity about my life. My anxiety and depression have been replaced with a new sense of hope, stronger faith, and love! Clearly this was not my own doing. I was also able to forgive two people who had hurt me in the past, and not only that, I enjoy their company now! For many years, I have been asking for prayers for our two sons who became addicted to drugs. Through God’s grace and our prayers to Mary, our sons are beginning to transform their lives. My six-year-old daughter gave me a Miraculous Medal and asked that I wear it. I added it next to my Saint Benedict medal on the chain around my neck. I used to wear the Miraculous Medal every day, but lost it at some point. I put the medal on after a near-accident in a snowstorm when a front-end loader came careening down a steep slope and missed me by inches. It swerved to avoid me and crashed into a guardrail. Several years ago, when my grandmother was in her 80s, she had pancreatic cancer.  After all of her treatments, the doctors felt sure she was cured. Not only that, but she did not endure any side effects or sickness from any of her treatments. Grateful to Our Blessed Mother for protecting my son.

I ask that you please pray for my son’s recovery.  He was in an auto accident a few months ago. How he survived is a miracle that still amazes us. When he bought his car, I gave him a Miraculous Medal that he hung on the rear view mirror. A wrong-way driver on the freeway hit my son’s car head-on.  The other driver was killed in the accident.  My son suffered a fractured femur, broken ribs, and has had difficulty swallowing and speaking. I am very grateful he did not suffer any brain or spinal injuries.  He is recovering slowly, and I know that with our prayers he will make a full recovery. Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal will always be with him.  We are eternally grateful to Our Blessed Mother for protecting him. I believe Our Blessed Mother is looking over my grandbaby.

When my granddaughter was three months pregnant, she learned through an ultrasound that something was wrong with her baby’s right kidney. She later developed gestational diabetes and was on two insulin shots per day as well as a strict diet. It was considered a high-risk pregnancy with a good chance of her having to undergo a C-section due to diabetes. I prayed every night holding my Miraculous Medal. On May 31, she delivered a little girl naturally.  Her baby did well.  The doctors are still puzzled about the baby’s kidney and if anything is wrong. I believe Our Blessed Mother is looking over my grandbaby, and hopefully soon the doctors will give her a clean bill of health!

Years ago, in 2008, I had stage-3 breast cancer. After having surgery, chemo, and radiation, I developed lymphedema.  My arm became swollen and painful and remained that way for years. There is no cure for this. I prayed to Mary for her help, but I was prepared to accept my situation if my prayers were not answered. During my cancer treatment and recovery, I started going to church after being away for many years. A woman from the Legion of Mary gave me a Miraculous Medal. Two weeks after wearing the medal, the swelling and pain completely disappeared.  I laughed, I cried, and I dropped to my knees in prayerful thanksgiving. My doctors and surgeon had no medical explanation for this.  They both called it a miracle. Mary DOES intercede!

I will always lean on Our Holy Mother as I wear her medal.

My sister, Becky, was hospitalized with a severe blood infection in early December; she had not been able to wake up or verbalize anything since being admitted. I placed the Miraculous Medal on her forehead, as this was the easiest area to get to since she had tubes attached to her upper body. I prayed to Holy Mary Mother to help my sister pull through and have her life extended, if this was meant to be. I did not ask for a cure, as she also had cancer, one of the many reasons she had been sick throughout the year. Three hours later after having prayed for her, my sister was alert and talking, although she was in and out of it as she lay so helpless and weak. We had the opportunity to visit and talk with her for two more weeks until her passing. I know that the Holy Mary Mother heard my prayers and gave us that precious time with her. My family and I are very thankful for the time we had with her and know she is now at peace and no longer suffering from her illness and her everyday stressors. I have sent frequent requests to the Association of the Miraculous Medal, as well as asking for your prayers throughout her illnesses, and I am most grateful for them.  I will always lean on Our Holy Mother as I wear her medal and/or carry it with me.

I thank God and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for their intercession!

Several years ago, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. There is no cure for this disease, but there is treatment. For millions of people, it is debilitating. I had inflammation and pain in my hands and wrists, along with extreme fatigue. I am a perpetual member of the Association of the Miraculous Medal, so I prayed daily to God and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal that I would be relieved of this disease.  I also requested Votive Lights to burn during the year. Most recently, my doctor informed me that my arthritis is now in remission. I thank God and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for her intercession and relief from pain. I will continue to pray daily. They are listening to us, love us, and will answer our prayers.

A few years prior, I received a letter from the Association saying my daughter with breast cancer was being remembered in the Masses and prayers at Our Lady’s Shrine. Since receiving the letter, my daughter’s cancer has gone into remission.  I know this is because of Mary’s intercession with her Son.  Her cancer was one of the worst types of breast cancer, but with our prayers to Mother Mary and through her powerful intercession, she has been healed.  We feel this is a true miracle Jesus has given us.  We sincerely thank the Association of the Miraculous Medal from the bottom of our hearts for all of your prayers.

This thank-you letter is long overdue.  I want to thank Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for her intercession. Something has always attracted me to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.  I have faith in her love for me. Before my granddaughter was born, the doctors told my daughter that there was something wrong with her baby.  I prayed to Our Lady throughout the entire pregnancy, and when my granddaughter was born, she was very healthy.  Now at 10 years of age, she is the most precious person in my life. When my grandson was born prematurely, I again asked Our Lady to watch over him.  He spent three weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit following his birth. The doctors were not optimistic about his future.  Our Lady again heard my prayers, and he is now a healthy little boy. I have a Miraculous Medal ring that I wear constantly.  Every time I look at it, I’m reminded of the beautiful graces Our Lady promises to each of us.

I can only attribute my safety to the miraculous intercession of Our Lady!

I want to share with you a story of the miraculous intercession of Our Lady.  I am a nurse who works the 12-hour night shifts on weekends. Recently, I nodded off while driving home and collided with two tractor-trailer trucks.  Those who witnessed the accident were amazed to see a living person in the car.  I walked away from the crash with only a few scrapes and bruises. I can only attribute my safety to the miraculous intercession of Our Lady and my guardian angel.  I was wearing my Miraculous Medal (which I never remove), and my brown scapular.  I want to share this testimony with as many people as possible, to help others understand that Mary’s intercession in our lives is REAL.

I am grateful to Our Lady for hearing my cry!

After our first child was born, we could not conceive again for nearly a year.  We went to a shrine in Florida.  I went in and didn’t really know what to say since I had a Protestant upbringing.  I cried the cry of a broken heart.  Two months later, we found out we were pregnant!  Once we found out the baby was a girl, she was named in honor of Mary, and on July 18^th, our daughter was born. We gave her the middle name of Grace. It was only later that I learned July 18 is the anniversary of the day Our Lady appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré!  I don’t feel this is a coincidence.  I am grateful to Our Lady that my cry for the blessing of motherhood was answered.

I feel confident of Our Blessed Mother’s powerful intercession!

I was having financial problems and a family member was drinking and becoming abusive. In a dream, I was shown to say the words, “O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” After praying these words and wearing the Miraculous Medal, things improved not only for me, but for the family member, as well. Hopelessness left us. I feel confident Our Blessed Mother was guiding me and using her powerful intercession.

I am writing to tell you about my miracle from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.  In January of 2012, I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and suffered with excruciating pain.  Medication did not help much.  Later, I was diagnosed with another blood disorder. At this point, I felt so sick that I began a Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, which I’ve prayed in time of need for more than 50 of my 80 years.  I asked Our Lady to obtain a miracle for me through her Son, or to at least extend my life a little longer so that I could get my affairs in order.  Later, my doctors told me that both my diseases are now in remission!  I truly believe that these blessings were obtained for me through the intercession of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.  I am so grateful!

My friend was injured in a farm accident.  His brain injury was so severe that the doctors said he would probably not walk or talk again. Through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother Mary, my friend is now home with his wife and children.  He is talking up a storm.  At Easter, my friend walked into church with the aid of a cane.  He still has a long way to go, but the power of prayer has NO boundaries.  My friend is living proof of this.  Praise God and thank you Mother Mary for my friend’s healing.

Thank you Blessed Mother for being there for my niece!

My 27-year-old niece was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and went through many treatments. After the treatments, there was still 10% of the cancer left which was wrapped around a heart valve. When I learned of her health condition, I prayed the Rosary every day.  I asked Our Blessed Mother to intercede with her Son on behalf of my niece, who has a two-year-old daughter who needs her mother. Our prayers were answered.  My niece had a PET scan recently and is now clear of any cancer.  She will need to be tested every three months to make sure the cancer doesn’t recur. I am confident Our Lady will remain close beside my niece. I can’t thank Mary enough for her help and for being there for my niece. Thank you, Blessed Mother, a million times.

I have always had a great devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.  She has always helped me when I was in need. Recently, I was granted my green card without any delay, and Our Lady ensured that I had a kind and helpful immigration officer.  She offered advice on how I can bring my children into the country legally. Several years ago, I had an insulin reaction that caused my blood sugar to drop dangerously low.  I fell down the stairs in the midst of this. I did not realize that my neck was broken until 3 days later when I mentioned my neck pain to a doctor during an appointment. He ordered an x-ray. My doctors were amazed that the broken neck did not result in paralysis! I give credit to the Miraculous Medal I was wearing and Our Lady’s intercession.   I wear my medal constantly.

Thank you, Mother Mary for your intercession!

My husband was told he had abnormal growths in his stomach. His bloodwork was not clear. The doctor believed it to be stomach cancer. My husband was scheduled for surgery. I prayed to Our Blessed Mother for additional tests to be run so surgery could be avoided. We received a call from the doctor that they wanted to do another test. I immediately started a Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. I asked for his new labs to be clear, with no sign of the growths.  My husband’s doctor appointment was on the last day of the novena.  We found out that day that his bloodwork was normal and the growths were gone. Thank you, Mother Mary, for hearing my prayers and interceding on behalf of my husband.

Small testimony to the grace an comfort provided by Our Mother!

I am not Catholic but have always been drawn to the Virgin Mary. She has appeared in my dreams. I wrote a poem in which she appeared to a desperate woman and gave her hope. I want to share an experience I had while living in Brazil. I was in bed one warm night with the door to the veranda open to catch the nightly breeze. Suddenly, the room was filled with the scent of roses. I felt indescribable joy. Please note that there were no rose bushes in my garden or nearby. The most amazing experience!

Mother Mary interceded on our behalf and provided us with a business that saved us financially.  I received the Miraculous Medal in the mail with a small booklet.  I read the booklet and started the novena. I want to thank Our Lady for interceding on behalf of my son-in-law’s mother. She was diagnosed with esophageal cancer some time ago. The prognosis was not good.  I sent my petition to the Shrine, asking Our Lady to watch over her while she received very strong doses of chemotherapy. Besides asking for prayers, I requested a Votive Light to burn for her. I’m writing to let you know how grateful I am for all of your prayers and concern for my son.  Also, my special thanks to Our Lord and Our Lady for the favor granted to him. Since my son’s transplant surgery, he has been going to the hospital weekly for follow-up exams. After his next visit, he will begin going every other week for a while and then just once a month. He is getting dialysis treatments three times a week to help the new kidneys function normally. He looks good despite everything he’s been through. Thank God. I believe wearing my Miraculous Medal saved me!

Several years ago, I went through surgery for esophageal cancer. During my illness, my wife and I became members of the Association in Perryville, burned Votive Lights, and prayed, especially to Mary, asking her to bring me through alive and well. I survived the surgery, even though my entire esophagus had to be removed because the damage was so extensive. My stomach was pulled up to replace the esophagus, leaving me with no stomach to digest food. However, I’m now completely recovered and in good health. Not the same since witnessing this miracle!

While my brother was ill for many months, I brought communion to him.  On the last Sunday in January 2021, he was under hospice care and was bedridden, yet alert. He received communion and then asked a very odd question, “Who said the Mass?” I responded shortly after he stated he wanted to get out of bed and sit at the dining room table in his chair. His children and grandchildren were there at this time visiting with him.  Sitting in his chair, he smiled and said he was so blessed and happy. Then he started gasping for breath. My brother surprised us all as he began to say the Hail Mary. We all joined in, and when we got to the part, “…now and at the hour of our death,” my brother took his final breath. He was a good and decent man who served God and his country.  I have not been the same since witnessing this miracle.

I am so thankful that my daughter was wearing her Miraculous Medal daily. She was taking a chainsaw training class. As she cut a tree and was running back, she tripped on a root and fell directly on the chainsaw. Truly a miracle for me!

On my way to Greece, my friend met me at the airport and handed me a Miraculous Medal necklace. I placed the medal in the pocket of my raincoat. I forgot all about the medal until it began raining one day and I wore my raincoat. As I walked up a hill to see the view, I slipped and fell. I placed my hand in my pocket to get sanitary wipes, but found the medal that I forgot was there. Holding the medal, I got up without any pain or dirt on my hands. This was truly a miracle for me because I am a 70-year-old lady and lucky to have been saved.

My brother is grateful for the blessings granted to him!

My brother and his wife were in a very bad car accident.  In the hospital, I placed by my brother’s bed a card with the Miraculous Medal image.  Even though he did not know about the medal, he embraced the card when he woke up on the second day at the hospital.  The therapist who helped him during his two- month stay also wore a Miraculous Medal. My brother is home but still receives outpatient rehabilitation.  The doctors have told him that he is a miracle and to keep praying.  Now his wife and children each wear a Miraculous Medal.  My brother is grateful for the blessings granted to him.

I will be forever grateful for the protection of God and Mary!

I was wearing my Miraculous Medal when I was hit by a car at a crosswalk. I thank God and Mary that I was protected.  I was launched into the air and landed 25 feet away.  I was later told by a police officer that I was nearly hit a second time by the same vehicle. I survived with just a few scrapes, bruises, and a sprained ankle.  I know God, Mary, and the angels were watching over me and protected me. I will remain forever grateful.

Some years ago, I read the story of Saint Catherine Labouré and the Miraculous Medal. I thought to myself, “I wish I could have a Miraculous Medal.” The next day, I received a medal in the mail. I was absolutely astonished. Not long after, my 66-year-old friend told me that he had coronary heart disease. He had several blockages in the arteries in his chest and one artery in his neck.  He decided to have the blockages medically treated.  I immediately gave the Miraculous Medal to him.  Eventually, I lost track of him, but I know he was still alive ten years after I gave him the medal. I feel certain it was through Mary’s intercession that he lived all these years.

Our Blessed Mother goes everywhere with me!

As children, my father led us in praying the Rosary every night. Our mother had moved out for another life when my siblings and I were at the ages of 18 months, three, and five. On a day when parents could visit our Catholic school, I cried as everyone had a mother there except for me. One of the nuns took me by the hand, and led me to the chapel, where she stopped in front of the statue of Our Blessed Mother. “This is your mother,” she said. From that day on, my devotion to Mary has grown. Years later as teens, my sister and I shared a bed and she would fall asleep with her rosary, which many times became tangled on my feet. My sister died at the age of 19 in an accident. I named my second daughter after her. I have survived two bad car accidents; both occurred after dropping my daughter off at school—once when she was in junior high and once when she was in college. BOTH times, I had my rosary in my possession, and BOTH times, I could have been killed. I walked away from each incident with barely a scratch. Our Blessed Mother goes everywhere with me. I carry a rosary always, and I pray for her intercession daily. I am now 76 years old.

Mary’s powerful intercession in my life!

On December 23, 1996, I received a long-awaited answered prayer for motherhood. This was a miracle for me. Two months earlier I had prayed earnestly to Our Blessed Mother to intercede for me to become pregnant. I had three miscarriages in the preceding three years. I had promised Mary that if I were to have a child, I would name her Mary. Days later, and after attending the Sacrament of Reconciliation service in my parish and receiving absolution of a mortal sin that has burdened my heart for five years, I learned I was pregnant. It was a miracle, just as two weeks earlier, my pregnancy blood test was negative. Even my doctor could not understand how my at-home test was positive on December 23. I know Our Blessed Mother interceded for me, and I kept my promise. Throughout the pregnancy, believing our unborn baby to be a girl, I kept her name in my heart. As infants, my sisters and I were dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. I have received many blessings from her. I continue to wear the Miraculous Medal. My wife of 53 years was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.  I said a prayer to Our Blessed Mother to intercede so that my wife would suffer no pain, that she would not be afraid of dying, and that Our Blessed Mother would be with her at the time of her death.  Throughout my wife’s illness she had no pain. She found acceptance of her imminent death.  She had a good sense of humor until her last day when she was no longer able to communicate. Thank you, Mary, for interceding with your Son!

Last year, I underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. For many years I have been praying the Rosary every day after reading my daily devotions. When I learned that I needed the operation, I was calm and confident, accepting the will of God for the outcome. As it turned out, my tumor was low grade and non-invasive. Over five years ago, my life came to a crashing halt as a result of alcoholism and drug addiction. In the month before my final separation from alcohol and drugs, I began wearing the Miraculous Medal. I was a single father with three children and had just lost my job. I stopped by the university’s Newman Center for daily Mass. Walking back to my car, I said a prayer, asking Our Blessed Mother for a “small favor.” In my mind I was asking for an impossible miracle.  My request was to find a job that would allow me to attend daily Mass.  Through Our Lady’s intercession, I was hired at the university and was able to attend daily Mass over my lunch break at the Newman Center. I was also given full benefits for my family and me, which we desperately needed. I worked at the state university as a gardener until I retired. My brother was in a VA nursing home for many years.  During that time, he always joined the group who prayed the Rosary at the VA home chapel. He always told me that if you said the Rosary faithfully and prayed to Mary would be with you at the time of your death.  I had also given him one of the Miraculous Medals to hang from his rosary. Eventually, he ended up in hospice, and I got to know the hospice nurses by name.  The early morning that he died, I did not recognize the hospice nurse who was with him, as I had not seen her before. I asked her what her name was and she replied, “Mary.”

Recently, I had a bone scan, which indicated multiple areas of concern in the pelvis. A radiologist friend said that I should be prepared for a diagnosis of metastatic cancer after reading the bone scan report.  I was then sent for an MRI for more visual imaging! It was an open MRI machine, and after entering it, the Miraculous Medal that I always wear jumped from my chest where it was resting and attached itself to the machine since it was magnetic. The nurse’s aide forgot to remove the medal before I entered the MRI. My results were completely normal, showing no evidence of the multiple areas of concern!

As I was returning home from the hospital after my son broke his arm, I was speeding and got pulled over by the police. I was going 20 miles over the speed limit. The police officer asked to see my driver’s license. When I got out of the car to get my license from my wallet, my Miraculous Medal fell on the ground. The police officer picked up my Miraculous Medal and handed it back to me. He told me to slow down, and he let me go without a ticket. I credit this to the intercession of Our Blessed Mother.

I wanted to thank Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for saving my dog and me from danger. My dog wears a Miraculous Medal on his collar. I carry mine in a bag around my waist. Today I was praying to Our Lady for protection from serpents. My dog and I walk at a very nice park with a paved trail, but it goes through swampland. There are alligators and numerous snakes that come up on the pavement. I had just finished praying for protection for my dog, Baxter, when I looked down, and there was a copperhead in the middle of our path! I do not see well. Usually, my dog sees the snakes first, but this time he did not. Thanks to Our Lady, I saw the copperhead. I want to thank Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for her intercession in protecting us from this snake.

I’m forever thankful for her keeping my son safe!

I always have been protected when wearing the Miraculous Medal. I gave my son one to wear while he was deployed to the Middle East last year. I was so scared and worried about him being somewhere dangerous for one year. Part of his deployment was that he had to be sent from Kuwait to Syria, and he had to fly over Iraq. While flying over Iraq to get into Syria, the Iraqi people launched missiles at the plane that my son and many other soldiers were on, but the missiles missed. My son was wearing his Miraculous Medal! The military plane was able to land safely, and my son and the rest of the soldiers were able to retreat to a safe bunker until everything calmed down. Mother Mary always intercedes, and I’m forever thankful to her for keeping my son safe and bringing him home safely.

The Miraculous Medal is special to me!

My Miraculous Medal story began two years ago. At that time, I had not yet returned to the Catholic Church. I was raised in a Catholic family, baptized, confirmed, and attended Catholic school. At some point in time, I lost my faith. This was due to a few reasons. I tried to keep up with my spirituality and attended Unitarian Universalist services from time to time. I was comfortable with this for a while, but eventually it wasn’t enough. Things changed two years ago, after the death of a man I had recently met. I didn’t know him well, but something that stuck in my mind was the religious medal he had always worn. I was uncertain what it was, and that bothered me.  I found out from his daughter that it was a Miraculous Medal.  I read all about this medal and immediately decided I needed one of my own. Apparently, God decided this too, because I started seeing these medals in thrift shops and soon had several different ones. I wear one every day now. Just a few days after that man’s death, my father ended up in the hospital after a serious heart attack and has been in a nursing home ever since. While very unfortunate, he feels blessed to be alive, and my family feels the same. Those two tragic events, both involving Catholics, were my pull to begin attending Mass again, and I’ve been attending regularly. I pray a daily Rosary and incorporate the Miraculous Medal prayer into each decade. The Miraculous Medal is special to me – it’s a comfort and a reminder of my faith, which seems wasn’t actually lost just misplaced.

Our Blessed Mother has never abandoned me!

In 2016, I withdrew from school because I could not afford tuition at the state university I was attending. I was devastated. I appreciated, for what seemed like the first time, the value of an education. I decided to apply to more prestigious universities as a transfer student in hopes of getting generous financial aid to cover the rest of my academic career. I knew it was a long shot because transfer students don’t usually get a lot of financial aid. They have to be incredibly exceptional to be considered for partial aid, least of all a full ride. I was not exceptional. I asked professors who barely knew me to write me letters of recommendation, spent weeks writing essays, and scrambled to pay the application fees. I was hopeful and prayed to Jesus, Our Lady, and Saint Gemma for a miracle. I knew nothing was impossible with God. Well, my prayers were answered in the unlikeliest of ways. I was denied by all three universities I wanted to transfer to, but I received news that one of the professors who wrote me a letter of recommendation was going to sponsor my education at the same university I’d withdrawn from. She covered my tuition until I graduated two years later. I know Our Lady interceded for me as it is extremely rare that a professor who barely knows a student is willing to pay for that student’s education. I am very, very thankful for all the help I’ve received from Our Mother Mary through the years. She’s never abandoned me and never will.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2016.  I have been taking a daily tamoxifen pill since then to prevent the cancer from returning.  Unfortunately, at one point, I started bleeding. I underwent several different medical procedures because a side effect of the tamoxifen is endometrial or uterine cancer. I was so scared, so I started wearing my Miraculous Medal rosary bracelet daily. Every time I looked at the bracelet, I prayed to Mary that I did not have any cancer cells in my body. All my biopsy reports were BENIGN, no cancer!! Thank you, Mary, for your intercession! Fast forward to 2024, I visited with my oncologist and want to share my good news with you.  I had a CT scan, and it all looked good. My doctor said I am doing great, and the cancer is still under control!  My medication is still working, thanks be to God.  Thank you to the Association of the Miraculous Medal for all your prayers you say on my behalf.  They are greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Holy Moher, for hearing my prayers!

My son had never been on a plane before and was never at an airport. He was very nervous about traveling. He had to travel to Chicago for an internship. I put a Miraculous Medal in his carry-on and asked the Blessed Mother to get him back and forth safely.  There was very bad weather both ways. He arrived safely at the hotel ahead of the tornadoes with no delays. On his return home, his flight took off with no problem and arrived safely at LaGuardia. After his flight took off, all other flights were canceled until the following morning. Thank you, Holy Mother, for hearing my prayers and bringing them to your Son, Jesus, for a happy outcome.

Some time ago, I asked the Association to pray for my son, a very hardworking man with a college degree and a great job in the music industry.  Unfortunately, he became hooked on drugs and had trouble dealing with from the pressures of the industry.  I know that prayers work, because he is doing so much better.  He has a different career now.  I am so thankful for your prayers for my son, and that Our Lady has truly interceded on his behalf.

Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal interceded!

Our son, Richard, was born in 1966.  At the age of six months, he got very sick with double pneumonia and was not responding to the antibiotics. A friend told me to pin a medal of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.  I did, and made sure the Nursing Staff knew not to take it off of him.  Richard did spend a week in the Intensive Care Unit, and lived to go home, and was free of the pneumonia.  This child is now a man of 58 years, healthy and unmarried, and taking care of us in our old age.  God bless!

Feeling the presence of something truly special!

Back in mid September, a couple had visited the Shrine to purchase a gift item.  As they spoke with the Association of the Miraculous Medal employee, their conversations turned to “how meaningful the National Shrine was to them, and how much they cherish their visits”. During their time together, the woman had shared her most recent diagnosis with pancreatic cancer. 

Moved by her story, the employee gently asked if they had ever visited the Bronze Statue of Mary along the Rosary Walk. She encouraged them to go, sharing how she often visits the statue whenever she carries something “heavy on her heart”. She described it as a sacred place where you can physically place your hands in Mary’s, and surrender your burdens to her, trusting she will carry them to Jesus.

Later that day, during a break, two other Miraculous Medal employees were walking nearby, and witnessed the couple at the Bronze Statue of Mary.  They were kneeling closely together, their hands inside Mary’s,  and deep in prayer.  The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over them, and the Jesus statue behind them.  Both team members were deeply moved, feeling the presence of something truly special, and brought them both to tears.

Our Mother Mary has worked in many ways!

Through a consecration to Mary, she has worked in ways I would have never expected. When I read the consecration book, it spoke of a “brand new morning” in my spiritual life.  I was like “yes”, and I could use that! On the consecration day, I put on a new blessed Miraculous Medal, a sign of my commitment to her.  Little did I know, that Jesus would soon be walking me through the Paschal Mystery in a very REAL way.                    The day after the consecration, I became both open to the idea of having another child after being closed to the idea for some time, (while always remaining open to life). A few weeks later, God decided he was going to take him/her home. I felt so angry at God, and especially toward Mary.  How could I be SO open to her work in my life, just to have this happen the same month? I learned that Mary herself experienced the death of her child, and even through that, she was still obedient to God. The Pashal Mystery involves life, death and life. The final piece of what Jesus was walking me through was life, a Rainbow baby.  We will be welcoming a baby to the world in November.

I wear her Miraculous Medal with true devotion!

After four years of prayer, I want to thank Our Lady for promoting me, on her birthday, to Deputy Probation Officer. Now, on the first day of her birthday novena, I am on my own as an officer. Our Lady of Grace is truly miraculous! I wear her Miraculous Medal with true devotion, and I promote devotion to her any moment I can. I have a picture of the Miraculous Medal in my office. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.

My life being spared through Our Blessed Mother’s intercession!

A few years ago, I had suffered a seizure and went into a coma.  A priest had anointed me at the time.  I’m told that I didn’t respond, but when the priest and my family began saying the rosary, I came out of the coma. Ever since, I have been visiting the sick and handing out Miraculous Medals.  I feel this is the least I can do, in gratitude for my life being spared through Our Blessed Mother’s intercession.

Her family considers her recovery to be a miracle!

My 37-year-old niece had been diagnosed with lymphoma. She received two rounds of chemotherapy thus far.  The initial lab test results had shown that the cancer was gone!  She was given a Miraculous Medal to wear during her cancer treatments.  She hasn’t taken it off.   Her family considers her recovery to be a miracle.  We are so grateful that Our Blessed Mother has interceded for our beautiful niece.

Graces obtained through the Miraculous Medal!

I was raised Catholic in my youth but left the Church and had joined another religion. I had a cancerous tumor removed and was told by my doctors that I would likely never walk again. Someone gave me a Miraculous Medal while I was in the hospital. It was one that had been distributed by Saint Teresa of Calcutta. I am now able to walk!  The doctors were amazed. I am convinced the graces obtained through the Miraculous Medal are responsible for my recovery.  I am so grateful.

Grateful to Our Blessed Mother’s powerful intercession!

Recently I slipped in our driveway after a heavy downpour. Knowing that I might hit my head on the cemented driveway, I clasped my Miraculous Medal which I was wearing around my neck.  I was rushed to the hospital, all the while frequently calling to Our Blessed Mother to help me.  The Emergency Room doctors initially suspected a hip fracture.  After thorough tests and evaluation, it was confirmed that I only sustained an ankle sprain which required me to be on rest for several days.  I am now on my way to recovery. I am grateful to Our Blessed Mother for her powerful intercession during my time of need.

I am confident that the Blessed Mother Mary was there.

I’ve been praying to Our Blessed Mother and wearing a Miraculous Medal for years. My sister went into pre-term labor.  While visiting her in the hospital, I removed my Miraculous Medal and placed it in her hospital room. On the following day, she gave birth to a healthy, two pound baby boy.  My sister now wears the same Miraculous Medal that I gave her.  I am confident that the Blessed Mother Mary was there to keep my sister and her newborn baby safe.  I am so grateful for my beautiful nephew who is thriving and now five!

I am very grateful to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

I am writing in thanksgiving to Our Blessed Mother. Our daughter was able to get away from her abusive husband and she and her three children moved in with us. Our daughter and her husband battled in court over custody of their children. My daughter and her attorney worked on getting the truth documented to present in court.  Through all the stressors, our daughter was on the verge of giving up.  During this time, I prayed to Our Lady and once again, she came to our rescue. I wear my Miraculous Medal every day, and I am very grateful to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for helping our daughter regain custody of her children and protected from harm.

Our Blessed Mother heard my cry for help.

Our Blessed Mother has always been my protector and helper. After my husband’s tragic death, I prayed the Rosary daily, asking Mary, Our Mother, to help myself and our children. She interceded for us, and our Lord met our needs. When my son and his wife had problems during the early years of their marriage, I again prayed the Rosary daily. They are still together today. I have never known a moment when Our Blessed Mother did not hear my cry for help.  I continue to pray the Rosary daily and wear my Miraculous Medal with faith and confidence.

We are so grateful Our Lady was watching over our son.

My mother and father-in-law brought back three Miraculous Medals from their trip to Paris, France; one for me, my husband, and our then 17-year-old son.  My son had placed his medal in his car for protection while traveling. The day before his 18^th birthday, he was involved in a single car crash, in which his car flipped multiple times—totaling his car. By the grace of God and Our Blessed Mother, he was able to walk away from this crash without a scratch on him.  He will always carry his Miraculous Medal with him wherever he goes! We are so grateful that Our Lady was watching over our son.

Some time ago, a friend of mine sent me a Healing Remembrance card from your Lady’s Association. I was very ill at the time. I read the card and held it close to me.  I immediately felt better, and as time went on, my health continued to improve. I know this was through Our Lady’s intercession. Since receiving the healing card, I have prayed for the health of my family and friends, and the many miracles that have happened along the way.  I will always continue to pray to Our Lady with faith and confidence.

We were protected by Our Lady.

My Miraculous Medal moment happened several years ago, but it has always been very vivid in my mind. I had been wearing my Miraculous Medal for years, but then I stopped wearing it. I remember the day when I took it off and tucked it in my drawer. One day, as my husband and I were preparing for a road trip, I had a strong feeling that I needed to wear my Miraculous Medal. Later that day, as we were driving, we got involved in a car accident and totally damaged our vehicle.  Fortunately, we were not physically hurt. I felt we were protected by Our Lady. Since then, I always wear my Miraculous Medal, and more importantly, I always have spiritual recourse to Our Blessed Mother from day to night.

I am thankful for the gift of the Miraculous Medal.

Our teenage daughter had been diagnosed with anorexia several years ago. We were distraught and worried. We were losing our daughter physically, mentally and emotionally. Our whole family, including her brothers, struggled. On Mother’s Day, my husband gave me a Miraculous Medal necklace. I had been praying the Rosary for help and guidance, and he thought this gift would be helpful, especially for me. I began wearing it religiously, and praying to Mary to intercede for my daughter to regain her health. After a year of therapy, our daughter broke through her illness and today, continues to be a happy, healthy young woman. I am so thankful for the gift of the Miraculous Medal necklace, our family, and this blessing!

I have no doubt of Mary’s intercession.

In October 2020, I was diagnosed with blood cancer at the age of 54. I have worn my Miraculous Medal and have prayed to Our Lady for many years. Some days, I was afraid as I went through chemotherapy treatments and then a stem cell transplant. I prayed daily and even requested prayers on the Association of the Miraculous Medals’ website.  After following up with the doctor for biopsy and blood work results, and the bone scan, I was told I was in complete remission!  I have absolutely no doubt the Miraculous Medal and Mary’s intercession are reasons why all is well with me now. I pray for others with cancer, their families, care givers, non-believers, and those who have left the church. I am grateful for my remission!

We are thankful for Our Lord and his loving Mother’s protection.

Recently my husband and I, along with another couple, were riding in our open convertible classic car. When the light turned green, my husband, the driver, proceeded slowly across the intersection as he prepared to make a left turn. Seconds later an oncoming driver ran through the red light and slammed into our car at the speed of 45 miles per hour. We were struck on the front left side of our car. Had we been a foot further into the street, we could have been badly injured or killed. The impact spun us around, but all four of us walked out of our car with our lives intact and only one bruised rib.  As usual, I was wearing my Miraculous Medal around my neck. We thank Our Lord and his loving Mother for their special protection.

I did not realize the significance of this Miraculous Medal.

When my husband died in 2019, he was wearing a gold Miraculous Medal on a gold rope chain which had belonged to his father. I did not realize the significance of this medal until I saw the “AMM.org” website as an advertisement on my Facebook social media page. I am proud and honored to wear this gold chain and Miraculous Medal of Mary. I’ve been praying for an increase in faith and the knowledge of how to live by faith in God’s presence, as I want to be worthy in Our Lord’s eyes in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal life.
