In 1917, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children in the countryside of Portugal. In the midst of a global war, Mary gave them an urgent message for the world—to seek holiness in Jesus through praying the Rosary. During Mary’s final apparition in Fatima, some 70,000 pilgrims witnessed the sun dance in the sky and felt the rain-drenched ground below them become dry in an instant.

AMM invites you to take part spiritually in our fall pilgrimage to Fatima by sending your special intentions, which we will remember in prayer throughout our ten-day pilgrimage to Portugal and Spain. A wreath made from thousands of tiny pink flowers returned by our members, representing their prayers and thanksgivings, will be presented to Our Lady near the Chapel of the Apparitions, where Our Lady of Fatima first appeared to the three shepherd children.

You are also invited to recite the Rosary during one or more days of the pilgrimage from September 14 – 23.

We are offering two spiritual keepsakes to commemorate your participation: a Multi-colored Crystal Rosary (R286) or a Fatima Auto Rosary (A055). Both items are available for a suggested offering, are blessed at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, and will be mailed to the address you provide.
