All Souls Remembrance

On Monday, November 2, Catholics around the world observe All Souls Day.

Praying for the purification of the souls of our departed loved ones is considered a gift of love that can hasten their journey to heaven.

Join AMM’s All Souls Day observance at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on Monday, November 2. Sharing the names of deceased relatives and friends offers them a special remembrance in prayer throughout the month of November and during the anniversary month of their passing. With all power to transcend earthly limits of time and space, God can apply the merits of your prayer to assist those you love.

You may also request a Votive Light to burn for your deceased loved ones.

Father Clay’s letter tells more about All Souls Day.

“Our Christian faith, founded upon Christ’s Paschal mystery, helps us to experience our memories as more than just a recollection of the past but also, and above all, as hope for the future. It is not so much about looking back but instead looking forward towards the goal of our journey, towards the safe harbor that God has promised us, towards the unending feast that awaits us.”
