Be part of the Miraculous Medal Novena of Masses November 18-26!

One of the devotional highlights of the year is coming up here at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal—and I invite you to share in its spiritual benefits.

The Association’s Novena of Masses honoring Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal will begin Wednesday, November 18. This nine-day observance leads up to the November 27 feast day honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary on the anniversary of her appearance to Saint Catherine Labouré as the image for the medal.

You may participate in this novena by sending us your special intentions. We will place them inside the Shrine Church here in Perryville, Missouri, where they will be remembered during the novena Masses, daily prayers, and throughout the remainder of November.

Since the first Miraculous Medals were distributed in 1832, countless people who have worn the medal have reported receiving divine favors they attribute to Mary’s intercession. Here are two stories faithful members of AMM recently shared with us. Both specifically mention a Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal:

Dear Father, My husband was told he had abnormal bloodwork and growths in his stomach. The doctor believed he had stomach cancer, and surgery was scheduled. I prayed for Our Blessed Mother’s intercession for additional tests to be run and for surgery to be avoided. The doctor did indeed order another lab test. I immediately started a Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for good results … on the last day of the Novena, we learned that his bloodwork was normal and the growths were gone! Thank you, Mother Mary for your intercession!

Dear Father, Mother Mary interceded on our behalf, and we were blessed with a business that saved us financially. I had received the Miraculous Medal in the mail with a small booklet. I read through the booklet and started the novena. At one point, while praying the novena, I could feel Mary’s presence in my kitchen, standing at the other end of the table. I could not see her, but I could feel her. It was the most amazing experience. At that moment, I felt assured everything was going to be alright. Within one month, our lives changed and a new business flourished. I know, without a doubt, that this blessing was through Mary’s intercession.

God’s blessings await you, too. Mary told Saint Catherine that so many graces go unreceived simply because they are not requested.

I encourage you to place your own or a loved one’s needs into Our Lady’s hands as we offer her this novena of prayer.

Please know that I, along with my fellow Vincentian priests and brothers and other AMM members, will be praying for you and your intentions.

May God bless your every effort to serve him, and may he draw you ever closer to himself.

Sincerely yours in Mary,

P.S. Request free, blessed Miraculous Medals to further AMM’s mission of bringing souls closer to Jesus through Mary. Each medal is presented on a keepsake card that explains the medal’s origin. Share them with family and friends. Medals also make a thoughtful “gift in the moment” for anyone along your daily path who seems in need of spiritual encouragement.

P.P.S. Order your AMM’s 2027 Miraculous Medal Planner for yourself or as a gift. The planner will help you follow along with the Church year and Marian feast days, novenas, and anniversaries. They make a great addition tucked inside Christmas cards or gifts for loved ones.
