Prayer for Travelers
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom his love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide.
Let us pray,
God, you enabled the children of Israel to pass with dry feet through the midst of the sea, and, by the guidance of a star, opened up to the three wise men the way that leads to you.
Grant, we beg you, a safe and pleasant journey so that, in company with your holy angel, we may arrive safely not only at our present destination but finally at the eternal reward of your heavenly kingdom. Through Christ, Our Lord.
