Request Perpetual Membership For Yourself or a Loved One

Saint Maximilian Kolbe told us plainly, “Let us give ourselves to the Immaculata [Mary]. Let her prepare us … she, who knows how to unite ourselves totally with the heart of the Lord Jesus.”

It is through prayer that we “give ourselves” to Our Lady. To draw closer to her is the surest and shortest pathway to the heart of her Son. And by asking for Mary’s intercession, we can also bring others nearer to her and to Our Lord. That’s the primary mission of the Association — and this letter.

I invite you to enroll yourself or a loved one as a Perpetual Member of the Association of the Miraculous Medal. It is truly the gift of a lifetime. Perpetual Membership affords recipient(s) an eternal share in the spiritual benefits offered at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, Missouri, even after being called from this life.

 

All perpetual members enjoy:

 

    • Remembrance in a monthly novena of Masses
    • Two additional novenas, plus 30 other Masses each month

You can enroll someone you love. Request a White Perpetual Membership Certificate, then send us their name(s) using the enclosed form and envelope. The suggested offering is $15 for each person, or $25 for a couple. Give this inspirational gift of prayer for birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, to express sympathy, to celebrate Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, or simply to show your loving care.

Many members choose AMM’s engraved deluxe Individual Perpetual Membership certificate for the suggested offering of $25 per person, or $35 per couple. Your membership offering, as well as any additional offering you choose to make, helps support the Association of the Miraculous Medal’s mission to draw souls to Jesus through devotion to Our Blessed Mother. You help maintain the beautiful National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal— a 40-acre prayerful, peaceful haven of hope and healing. A portion of your generosity also assists Vincentian ministries of evangelization and service to the poor.

As a final word of inspiration, I turn again to Saint Maximilian Kolbe. “You are hers,” he assures us. And “the Immaculata will conquer, through us, the whole world and every single soul.”

United in Faith Committed to Action

For Christians, a radiant star is one of the most revered symbols of Our Lord. As the world’s spiritual light, Jesus dispels the darkness of sin and death.

When Saint Catherine Labouré first beheld the vision of Mary in the image of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, her biographer says the Blessed Virgin “shone as the morning rising.” Yet, Mary was not the source of that brilliant light. Rather, it burst forth from 12 stars revealed to Catherine — the 12 stars that Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is often depicted wearing as a crown.

Jesus is the light. Jesus shines forth through Mary and reaches us through rays of countless blessings and graces won for us by her merits.

I thank you for placing yourself in the path of this saving light through your membership in the Association of the Miraculous Medal.

Souls living in God’s light radiate confident trust in Christ, never fearing to entrust even the greatest request into heaven’s hands through Mary’s intercession.

Through you, AMM continues to offer others this gift of Jesus’ saving light by freely sharing Miraculous Medals with anyone who asks. We also join you in praying for your intentions and support the formation and ministries of the Vincentian priests and brothers.

I visited an acquaintance who had ALS. I had heard a priest on a radio program advise everyone to wear a “Miraculous Medal,” so I told my friend and he got one. I prayed for a physical miracle for him, but he received a spiritual one instead. He praised his illness publicly because it granted him a relationship with God which he never had. He became Catholic shortly before he died and brought his entire family into the Church. I’ve been wearing the Miraculous Medal and have now come closer to Mary and her Son.
