Our Blessed Mother gave Saint Catherine Labouré the design of the Miraculous Medal in 1830. “Graces will abound for persons who wear it with confidence,” Mary promised the humble Daughter of Charity novice.

The Association of the Miraculous Medal is a ministry of prayer and devotion. We also work to carry on the mission Our Lady gave Saint Catherine –– to get Mary’s medal into the hands of faith-filled people everywhere and to those who are struggling spiritually and in special need of God’s grace.
With a free will offering, you may order up to 100 blessed Miraculous Medals. Each comes affixed to a beautiful card that tells the story of Our Lady’s appearance to Saint Catherine.
Anyone who corresponds with Our Lady’s Association is considered a member of AMM. You and your loved ones will be remembered in the daily Mass and prayers of the Vincentians at the National Shrine in Perryville, Missouri.
Our Lady will keep her promise of showering God’s graces on all who put their faith and confidence in her intercession.

I sent my son a Miraculous Medal. He put it on his military dog tag chain. He returned unharmed seven times from deployments, including Iraq. I attribute this to Our Lady interceding for him. I will be forever grateful that his wife and daughters still have their husband and father. I still have my son.

The Association of the Miraculous Medal supports members on their daily spiritual journey. La iglesia de Santa María de los Baldíos, donde se aloja el Santuario Nacional de la Medalla Milagrosa en Perryville, Missouri, es uno de los nueve sitios de peregrinación en la arquidiócesis de San Luis para el Año Jubilar de la Esperanza 2025.
El Papa Francisco anunció un año jubilar de esperanza para el 2025. La celebración del Jubileo comenzó en la Nochebuena de 2024, con la apertura de la Puerta Santa de la Basílica de San Pedro en Roma. El año jubilar continúa hasta el 6 de enero de 2026.
“La esperanza cristiana… está fundada en la certeza de que nada ni nadie podrá separarnos nunca del amor divino”, escribió el Santo Padre.
Los fieles podrán obtener la gracia especial de una “indulgencia jubilar” (una remisión ante Dios de la pena temporal por los pecados cuya culpa ya ha sido perdonada) tras llevar a cabo ciertos ejercicios espirituales como parte de una peregrinación piadosa al Santuario Nacional de Nuestra Señora de la Medalla Milagrosa u otro sitio sagrado del Jubileo.

Como hijos de María, sabemos que la Virgen siempre nos espera para escuchar nuestras alegrías, penas y angustias, especialmente en los momentos de mayor necesidad. En tiempos de dolor, sufrimiento o incertidumbre, cuando tantas personas se encuentran en busca de consuelo, María es nuestro refugio y esperanza.
La Asociación de la Medalla Milagrosa, a lo largo de más de 100 años, ha intentado responder al llamado a celebrar y promover la devoción a la Virgen María y su Medalla Milagrosa. María, en su papel de madre amorosa, prometió derramar gracias sobre aquellos que usaran con fe su Medalla Milagrosa, particularmente gracias de sanación.
María, también bajo su título de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, ha derramado gracias de sanación y fortaleza sobre millones de personas a lo largo de los años. Desde su aparición a santa Bernardita en 1858, la Virgen María nos recuerda que siempre está a una oración de distancia.
¿Hay alguien en su vida que necesite consuelo y sanación? ¿Algún ser querido que esté enfrentando enfermedad, dolor o angustia? Para que les brinde apoyo y consuelo, solicite una Tarjeta de Sanaciónque puede darles esperanza.

Una gran señal apareció en el cielo: una mujer revestida del sol, la luna bajo los pies y en la cabeza una corona de doce estrellas.
En Apocalipsis 12:1, podemos entender que se habla de la Virgen María. La corona de estrellas simboliza que es una Reina. Al revestirse de sol, nos revela que está en la presencia plena de la gracia de Dios. Su ser, como madre, está protegido por el amor, la gracia y la luz del mismo Jesús.
Como hispanos, católicos y miembros de la Asociación de la Medalla Milagrosa, valoramos profundamente el papel que María juega como abogada y madre espiritual. Hoy doy GRACIAS por la devoción de tantas personas, y por el apoyo que brindan a la Asociación. Es gracias a personas como usted que podemos continuar con nuestra misión de propagar la devoción a la Virgen y a su Medalla Milagrosa.

Saint Mary’s of the Barrens Church, home of the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, is one of nine pilgrimage sites in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis for the Jubilee Year of Hope for 2025.
The faithful will be able to obtain the special grace of a “Jubilee Indulgence” (a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven) by fulfilling certain exercises in conjunction with making a pious pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal or another sacred Jubilee site.

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Many Bible scholars understand Revelation 12:1 as referring to Our Lady. The crown of stars symbolizes that she is a Queen. Being clothed with the sun is often understood as God’s gift of grace covering the Blessed Virgin Mary. Her very being is overshadowed by divine power, grace, truth, and the Light of Life, Jesus, himself.

Some time ago, my house burned down because of a candle I forgot to blow out. My mother and I were able to get out of the house unharmed. Two weeks earlier, I bought a statue of Our Lady. My mother and I prayed the Rosary every night in front of the statue. I feel sure Our Blessed Mother interceded to save our lives.
I visited the Miraculous Medal Shrine in Paris. I was a man of little faith at the time, but that has changed. My prayer that day was for a job; I had been unemployed for some time. Returning home, there was a voicemail on my phone about a job interview. I got the job the next day! Thank you, Blessed Virgin, for hearing my prayers.
My husband was diagnosed with cancer. Doctors prescribed an expensive drug to strengthen his bones, but there was no way we could afford the cost. My husband and I prayed a Rosary and asked Mary for her intercession. Shortly after, we received a call from the doctor’s office. They’d found an organization that would pay for this drug for one year. Now that’s a miracle!
Wearers of the Miraculous Medal also secure blessings for the whole world as the image of Mary on the front of the medal shows her with her foot on the head of Satan. Help us continue to spread devotion to Mary, through the merits of the Miraculous Medal.

Be part of AMM’s Prayerful Observance Beginning Tuesday, January 14
Send your petitionsto be remembered during AMM’s annual celebration of Mary’s Espousal to Saint Joseph. The novena begins January 14 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and continues for nine days.
Also called the “Feast of the Holy Spouses,” this observance was recognized by Pope Leo X and celebrated in 1517 by the Nuns of the Annunciation. Typically, it is observed on January 23. Though the feast does not appear on the Church’s liturgical calendar, numerous shrines, dioceses, and Catholic congregations around the world celebrate it.
You are invited to burn a Votive Light to honor the holy spouses’ faith-filled commitment to one another. Your intentions will be placed near Our Lady’s Altar here at the National Shrine and remembered throughout the novena as well as on the actual feast day, January 23. During the novena, join us in praying for engaged and married couples and all unborn children. In every place and time, may God bless and protect the institution of the family as the first and foremost spiritual community.
“Now this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found with child through the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18
The faithful are invited to make a spiritual pilgrimage to the National Shrine in Perryville, Missouri, in 2025. As a “pilgrim of hope” –– the theme for this year’s Jubilee –– you can obtain a plenary indulgence by fulfilling certain conditions. An indulgence is the remission of punishment due for sins.
