Volunteer Opportunities

The Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville invites you to grow closer to Jesus through devotion to Mary by becoming a volunteer.

This is a great opportunity to grow spiritually as you help the Association attend to the needs of our members and visitors.

Volunteer opportunities include:

· projects in the Miraculous Medal office

· greeting visitors at the Shrine

· working around the grounds

· maintaining the beauty of the church

· helping with Shrine Events

· decorating the Shrine Church for Easter and Christmas

If you are interested in volunteering, or are a junior or senior high school student seeking Christian service hours, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Volunteer opportunities are available for those who speak and read Spanish, also.

Shrine Rosary Group

You are invited to join the Shrine Rosary group. It is a wonderful opportunity to pray with others.

This group prays every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.

Weather permitting, the Rosary is prayed on the grounds. In case of inclement weather, the Rosary is prayed in the Shrine Church.

Prayer In Gratitude for Volunteers

Jesus, we were created in the image of your love. Even now you call your Church to be your hands and feet, to offer loving service to one another in your name.

We give you thanks for the Spirit you send to sustain and strengthen us in our works of love. We give you thanks for the members you raise up to respond with special service, each in their own way, to the needs of our local communities.

Please bless all who freely labor for your love, especially the volunteers who give of themselves to support the Association of the Miraculous Medal. Bring to fulfillment the gifts they offer in hope of a better world, and help us to see in one another the beauty and dignity that you bestow on each person.

Renew our hearts in grace and gratitude, that we may always find new reasons for joy.
