A Prayer for Thanksgiving
From the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, please join in praying with fellow members of the Association of the Miraculous Medal:
Lord, we thank you for the goodness of our people
and for the spirit of justice that fills this nation.
We thank you for the beauty and fullness of the
land and the challenge of the cities.
We thank you for our work and our rest, for one another, and for our homes.
We thank you, Lord: accept our thanksgiving on this day.
We pray and give thanks through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
From everyone here at the Association and National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, may you and your loved ones enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving. We offer special gratitude on Thanksgiving for your faithful support of Mary’s ministry here in Perryville.
The grounds of the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal remain open to visitors throughout the holiday weekend. However, AMM offices will be closed November 27-28 and will reopen December 1. The Visitor Center and Gift Shop will be open on November 28 (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., CT).
